just as Kole finished of the the last of the fist wave he felt a gust of wind as a bullet whizzed past his right ear.
too close! he thought
he looked to see where the bullet had come from and noticed men positioning themselves on the roof tops.
"SNIPERS!" he yelled, to warn the others
then he teleported to cover as a sharp pain erupted in his shoulder Fuck!
Shade reappeared behind the wreckage of what use to be a helicopter, His shoulder burning with pain. He removed his hand to check his wound.
Just a graze, thank god, ill deal with it later.
Kole sat up to check on his teammates. He saw that every one had gotten to cover, he saw Rose and Sin ducked behind a truck that had been turned on its side and Geo running to meet them.
just as he was about to join them he heard a groaning noise and noticed the pilot of the overturned helicopter was regaining consciousness. Shade put him back to sleep with a quick kick then teleported away to join his squad.
He reappeared behind the truck next to Rose
"I"ll take care of the snipers, you guys OK?" he said still holding his shoulder. |

Geo quickly ducked behind the truck. He gave a quick nod to Sin and Rose, peering over the edge of the truck to where the snipers were likely positioned. He narrowed his eyes and made a mental note.
He turned back to the others just as Shade emerged from his cloud of shadow energy. He spotted his injured shoulder, and frowned. An injured shoulder will slow him down.
"I'll take care of the snipers, you guys okay?"
Geo shook his head, moving closer to the other three. "We do this together, Shade." Geo barked. "We're a team. Besides, these guys are trained to track teleporters." He peered over his shoulder again. "I got an idea."
"Sin, Black Rose, you two draw their attention and I'll put up a wall when they take their shots." Geo eyed Shade. "I hope you don't mind flying, Shade. I'll throw you up towards the building, and you teleport at the last minute. Get behind them and take them out."
The sound of helicopter blades cut through the air. Geo looked up and saw two approaching from the distance. "Damnit, we gotta move!" He eyed Sin and Black Rose. "On you!" |
