Affiliation;; Xavier Institute for Higher Learning, Mutants
Gender;; Female
Height;; 5'6"
Weight;; 138 lbs.

Personality;; Mirror is naturally outgoing, compassionate, and generally open with her emotions. She is kind-hearted and generally tries to find the good qualities within everyone, but is not afraid to admit when a person is generally mean-spirited or otherwise abrasive. Her outgoing nature has allowed to develop an open-mind, and she accepts most everyone and welcomes friends, though she sometimes is a little too willing to befriend. She can be judgmental, but often privately and only of those who are outwardly oppressive or insulting to others. She is generally optimistic, though she's prone to fits of self-doubt, especially regarding her future.
Power(s);;
- BIOLOGICAL MIMICRY: Mirror has the mutant ability to "mirror" any surface or object she encounters, through sight or touch. Working in a similar manner to camouflage, Mirror's cells are comprised of a reflective, adaptable substance that allow her to biological alter her skin and hair to become whatever she sees or touches. She is able to fully become the object, allowing her near complete blending and it is incredibly difficult to detect her while she is "mirrored". While she is able to mirror certain organic objects, she is unable to mirror another person, mutant or otherwise.
- SUPERHUMAN DURABILITY: While in a mirrored state, Mirror takes on the same durability of whatever she has chosen to mirror.
[/li][li]PORTAL GENERATION: Mirror also has the ability to generate portals that have a "mirror-like" reflective quality in any space she psychokinetically deems. They have the appearance of elliptical, silver mirrors.
[/li][li]TELEPORTATION: Through the use of her portals, Mirror is able to instantaneously move between her mirrors. She must have prior knowledge of each mirror's location, and they must not have been destroyed or willingly dissolved.
[/li][li]POWER REFLECTION: Mirror's portals possess an active reflective property, in addition to the normal qualities of a basic mirror. She can reflect the powers of certain mutants, provided she is able to concentrate hard enough and the power is some form of directed energy or material.
[/li][li]MIRROR SIGHT: Mirror is able to "see" whatever her generated "mirrors", or any mirror that she has had contact with, is currently reflecting. It is unknown if there is a limit to the range of this ability, and Mirror herself is unaware.[/blockquote]
[/li][li]TELEPATHIC MIRRORING: Mirror's mind is incredibly difficult to penetrate, as any telepath would find themselves reading a "mirrored" version of their own mind. Only the most powerful telepaths are able to get passed this ability.[/li][/ul]
Goals;; Mirror's primary goal is to be a generally good person. She also wants to learn full, complete control of her powers, and to make a difference in the world by becoming an X-Men. She harbors a secret to desire to one day be a mother and have a family.
Fears;; Mirror fears hurting emotionally the people she loves most. With this comes the fear of losing her compassionate ideals and never being able to have the family she's always wanted.
Hobbies;; Mirror enjoys drawing, playing video games, writing, singing, and reading.
Strengths;;
- GIFTED ARTIST: Mirror is a gifted artist, having shown an interest since she was a girl. She continues to practice and is pursuing a further education in graphic design.
- LINGUIST: Mirror is able to speak and understand, at least in part, Chinese and Latin.
- MUSICAL APTITUDE: Mirror was raised in a musical family, and is able to play the violin. She is also a talented singer.
- STRENGTH LEVEL: Mirror possesses the strength of a normal adult female who engages in regular exercise.
Weaknesses;; Mirror's biological mimicry can be disrupted if the object she has "mirrored" is destroyed completely. Her portals are susceptible to high-pitched sonic waves. She also has the same weaknesses as a normal adult female.
Family;;
- John Daugherty (father)
- Cassie Daugherty (mother)
- Brian Daugherty (brother)
- Jessica Daugherty (sister)
- Jane Daugherty (sister)
History;; Victoria Asha Daugherty was born on May 24th, 1987 in Wichita, Kansas to John Daugherty, a pianist, and his wife Cassie Daugherty. At the time, she was an only child.
She lived in Phoenix, Arizona until she moved to Hitterdal, Minnesota when she was five. Victoria lived on a small farm growing up and was enrolled in a small private elementary school. As her parents were fairly conservative and did not boast a great wealth, she was often given homely clothes to wear, much to her own dismay, as she was bullied by the other kids who had come from affluence.
She also had to wear a special type of glasses for most of her childhood, due to her her eyes being in intense pain without them and the natural difficulty in seeing. This fact led many students to steal her glasses, though they'd eventually return them after they'd had their fun.
Victoria's first sibling, Brian, was born when she was 4. Because they were close in age, they developed a close relationship. Her brother was also bullied in school, even more so, and she drew to him because of it. She knew she wanted to protect him, but was often unable due to her own bullying.
Victoria, without having a great abundance of friends like some of her classmates, turned to art, anime, and fantasy to help her escape from the troubles of her life. She started drawing frequently, and her parents noted that she had talent. Like her father, she had musical aptitude and learned to play the violin.
Victoria's two sisters, Jessica and Jane, were born when she was 10 and 13, respectively. As the oldest sibling, she felt something of a responsibility to her younger siblings, though not as much to her brother, as he was closer in age.
When she was 16, Victoria began to display signs of her mutation. She eventually felt the need to no longer wear her glasses, and her eyes often looked 'shiny' on certain days. Confused and unsure, she didn't mention any of it to her parents. However, one day she woke up in a pain and saw that her eyes and turned completely silver and appeared to look like little mirrors. Knowing that there was no way she could hide her appearance, she relented and told her parents.
Unaware of the true nature of this 'defect' her parents, being religious, took her to their church and called for a prayer amongst the congregation. Victoria, embarrassed to no end and humiliated, began to cry. As she did, she could hear the crowd let out a gasp and begin to panic. Unbeknownst to her at the time, Victoria had "mirrored" the wall she stood against and was effectively rendered invisible to the church and her parents.
Eventually, she realized what she had done and, having heard her parents talk about mutants and their 'wrongness', understood that's what she was. She had always been different, and this explained why.
Despite her parents overreaction and embarrassment, they still loved Victoria and they mustered the strength to tell her about a school on the East Coast for 'special' children. Both excited that there was such a place and deeply saddened it was so far away, Victoria took time to make the decision. However, she agreed and her family accompanied her on the drive to the Xavier Institute For Higher Learning.
Once she had said goodbye to her family and was settled in, she took to getting to know the other students. Her naturally outgoing personality allowed her to approach others, but they didn't often take to her, as she was still new. Noticing this, the X-Man Rogue took Mirror under her wing of sorts and helped her to find a way to better befriend some of the students. Victoria was grateful, no doubt, and she soon made quick friends.
Encouraged by the abundance of students with 'mutant codenames', Victoria excitedly adopted the name "Mirror", an appropriate choice. With this name came a new sense of purpose and a sort of reprieve from her old life of being bullied. Here she was accepted and no one viewed her differently because of the way she dressed or what she liked. She became especially close with a geokinetic named Ray Kessler, or Geo as he was called, and the two have an almost unbreakable bond.
Like many of the other students, Victoria was chosen to join a team of students that would act like junior X-Men, learning cohesion as a team and other skills that might one day lend them to becoming a full-fledged member of the famed mutant team. Rogue was named her squad mentor, and Victoria was chosen as the leader. Both excited and incredibly nervous, Victoria took to her new role with an open mind and an eagerness that was unmatched. Paired with a team of students she is unfamiliar with, Victoria views this as a chance to make new friends and find a real purpose and use for her abilities.
