Rogue didn't spend much time in her office if she could help it. She felt strange there, like she was all official or something. (probably why they called it that) And she wasn't that kind of girl. She got some plants to try to make it feel more casual, but that didn't help much. She just wasn't sure how you go about making an office feel comfy. But she had a gotten herself one of those comfortable chairs. She had to admit, however, it was the best place for her to get class- related work done.
Like grading papers.
...I think everyone should live by the "eye for an eye" mentatlity. Someone hits you? Hit them back. Teacher takes your phone? Take theirs. Humans want to burn down your house? Set them on fire. It's only fair...
Rogue stared irritated at the paper on her desk. She'd be more concerned if she thought the student meant it that way. She was fairly certain he was saying things to get her goat. She'd heard him talk in class, he did seem to have a thing for eye for an eye but he'd never hurt anyone. He could have at least spelled "mentality" correctly.
She sighed and rubbed her temple. He wasn't the only one who didn't seem to take ethics classes seriously. She'd had a student not too long ago that decided because they were "homo-superior" they shouldn't be made to learn anything meant for "homo-sapiens" and that only mutant philosophers were applicable and therefore he shouldn't be made to sit through her class. She was still positive he just wanted to have a good excuse for cutting. She had set him right by the end of the semester. Smart-assed little twit.
She decided to go back to some of the other papers and deal with the trouble-maker later. She set his essay aside found that she only had one more to grade aside from the one she set aside. Rogue leaned over her desk, her forearms resting on the surface, head angled towards the paper, shoulders by her ears. She hated this part. [/blockquote]
