Personality;; Toxin is naturally calm, and is rarely ever rattled or shaken by events around him. His upbringing taught him how to deal with stressful situations without losing control of himself, nor to lose sight of his goals. Even when not using his powers, his words seem to have a "toxic" tone to them, and he frequently manipulates his friends into doing things or simply for fun. He is loyal, however, but only to those who align with his goals or those of Magneto. He doesn't outright hate humans, but rather sees them as sheep waiting to be manipulated or be subjected to his toxins. He also feels no special kindred with other mutants, preferring to view people for who they are, not what they are.
Power(s);;

• POISON MANIPULATION: Toxin is a mutant with the ability to generate and control poison. He is able to manipulate any known form of poison, toxin, or venom and direct it at will. The extent to which his powers go is limited only by his imagination. He can fire projectiles made of solid poison that explodes on impact or create a pool of toxin from a small vial of such a substance. His body generates its own toxin, which is harmful or lethal, depending on the concentration, to all except Toxin himself. However, there are certain mutant abilities that can negate the effects.
  
• TOXIC SPEECH: Toxin possesses the ability to transform literal words into poison, with an ability he calls "Toxic Speech". Through this ability, he is able to use his words to secrete a subtle poison in his target's brain that is only lethal if he continues to focus on a target for an extended period of time. He can only concentrate on a single target at once.
  
• POISON IMMUNITY: Toxin is immune to any and all known forms of poison, toxin, and venom.
  
• NOXIOUS FORM: Toxin's secondary mutation gave him the ability to transform his body into a toxic mist, which he uses to travel at great speeds. His body takes the form a feint green mist that is plainly visible, but harder to see at great distances.
  

• GASEOUS STATE: When in his Noxious Form, Toxin's entire body enters into a gaseous state, rendering him translucent and slightly intangible.
  
• ENHANCED SPEED: Toxin is able to travel at great speeds when in his Noxious Form, able to reach speeds that match that of a small bird.
  
• SUPERHUMAN DURABILITY: Toxin is invulnerable to most weapons and certain powers when in Noxious Form.
  
• TELEPATHIC IMMUNITY: Because Toxin's entire body becomes gaseous, including his organs, he is immune to telepathy when in Noxious Form.

Goals;; Toxin primary goal is to subjugate humanity to a point where they are nothing more than experiments to mutantkind, able to manipulated without any resistance. He also wishes to further the goals of the Brotherhood of Mutants, as he believes it is the fastest way to his ultimate goal.
Fears;; Toxin's only fear is the idea that there is some greater being out there that is manipulating all - mutant and human alike - and that every being in the world are pawns in a greater game.
Hobbies;; Toxin enjoys reading, experimenting with chemical compounds, training, and analyzing his friends greatest weaknesses.
Strengths;; In addition to his mutant powers, Toxin is skilled in a number of other abilities.

• SKILLED MANIPULATOR: Toxin is a skilled manipulator, learned from years studying with the Brotherhood of Mutants and Emma Frost. He is a master of subtle manipulation, using words to twist the thoughts of others into his desired outcomes.
  
• MEDICAL KNOWLEDGE: Toxin has a fairly adequate knowledge of medical science and, specifically, the effects of poisons, toxins, and venoms on organics.
  
• LINGUIST: Toxin is fluent in German, Spanish, Russian, and French, in addition to English.
  
• PSYCHOLOGICAL KNOWLEDGE: Toxin has a working knowledge of advanced psychology and neuroscience.

History;; Victor James Slade was born on March 18th, 1986 in Los Angeles, California to Bryan Slade, a wealthy pharmaceutical executive, and his wife Jessica Slade, a corporate lawyer. His older brother, Lucas, was born five years before.

Victor grew up in a small mansion in Pasadena, California where he attended an exclusive private school for elementary school. His brother eventually went on to attend a similar institution for high school.

Victor was always considered to be "different" as a child, both by his parents and his friends at school. He was frequently distant and his words were often quiet and subtle, but harsh and blunt. His teachers always found him off-putting and slightly strange.

His parents, both having demanding and time consuming jobs, often left Victor and Lucas to the care of their housemaid, which Victor found to be insulting. When you agree to create, you must care, he felt. Because of this, he began to dislike his parents.

When Victor was 14, and his brother left to attend to college in Massachusetts at MIT on a full scholarship, Victor became extremely jealous of the attention that his parent's gave to Lucas. It was then that his powers manifested.

On the night before they were set to return to Los Angeles, Victor stood before his parent's bed as they slept in their hotel room and muttered hateful words that eventually sent a poison into their brains, instantly killing them.

Victor, panicking from what he had just done, made the room appear as if someone had killed his parents and kidnapped him. After all, his father and mother both had enemies gained from years in their respective careers. Lucas learned of the tragedy and while the police did search for Victor, they eventually called it off and figured him dead.

Victor, some days later, was eventually discovered by a man who introduced himself as Erik Lehnsherr. Erik calmed Victor, who was still quite shaken from what he had done, and explained to him that he was a mutant, the next step in higher evolution. He beckoned Victor to come with him, and he agreed.

Erik took Victor to a strange island fortress somewhere off the shores of the East Coast, and introduced him to a group known as the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. Following this, Erik revealed himself to be the mutant called Magneto, who possessed the ability to control and manipulate all forms of magnetism. Magneto explained to Victor that he had great potential and through his instruction, he could become powerful. Enthralled by this, Victor agreed, taking the name "Toxin" as his new - his true - name.

For three years, Victor remained with the Brotherhood, learning to use his powers and of the mutant Charles Xavier, a human sympathizer, and founder of the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning, as well as the mutant hero team known as the X-Men.

Victor was willing to serve Magneto in any way, and when he was asked to infiltrate the Xavier Institute, becoming a full student while subtly and slowly manipulating those to join the Brotherhood's cause, he accepted immediately. Victor was taken from the hidden island and to the mansion, where he was accepted as a student.

Taken under the guidance of the powerful telepath, Emma Frost, Victor was placed in the student team known as the Omega Squad, which acted alongside other student teams as a smaller, less-dangerous form of the X-Men. Victor found himself teamed with an inhibition manipulator and seductress called Mary Carnahan, also known as Jezebel, and a kinetic energy controller called Malcolm Kendrick, also known as Spite. Still using the name Toxin, Victor has subtly but surely begun to instill his poisonous words in service of Magneto and the Brotherhood of Mutants.
